For separated dads, this is an opportunity to meet up for a sociable walk in the countryside with coffee, company and conversation.
As a separated parent, you can end up feeling quite lonely when you are away from your own children. DU thought we would come up with a regular event for the many separated parents that unfortunately don't have much access to their own children.
We want to give separated parents the opportunity to meet other adults in similar situations in a laid back environment, to have a bit of down time amongst good company.
For the parents only, this sociable walk will start at Perry Court Farm in Wye, outside of the cafe at 9.30am where coffee will be served upon arrival. ( Breakfast can be purchased at your own expense.) There is plenty of parking available. Please park at the far side of the carpark.
At 10am, we will guide you on a country walk, come rain or shine incorporating the Wye Farmers Market. Feel free to bring some hot soup or a flask of tea to consume whilst taking in the view from the Wye Crown. As a support group, we will have a small group of up to 8 people including DU representatives.
Please wear appropriate footwear and outer clothing for rough terrain/ muddy conditions.
