Child Arrangements Proposal - Template

It can be challenging to work out what arrangement you are seeking, whether this be through the court or by mutual agreement.

Each arrangement for each child should be considered against a criteria of what would be best for them. Some things to be mindful of when considering child contact:

1. The age of the child/ren
2. The distance between your home and where the child lives, if this is not with you
3. Your working pattern
4. Your lifestyle and that of your child/ren
5. The wishes and feelings of your child/ren

Attached is an example of how you could structure your thinking to help you decide on the best potential child arrangements for your child/ren, which may be useful when entering discussions with the other parent.
